TASK B

Macro image I took of this flower close up by zooming with my  camera lense , this photo is of a small item larger than life size making it more stand out is by making the background more blurry and brighten the flower, I did this by using photoshop and changing the brightness and the colour of the flower to make the image more powerful to look at
This is an example of portrait which captures the personality of Robyn in this image by the way she poses and the backdrop we used is the white backdrop it make her stand out from the background and changing the colours of her clothing to a more brighter by using that cloning tool in photoshop to make sure the colour is right and then going to the brightness tool to make it darker but not too dark otherwise it will be to hard to see her in the picture
This is also a portrait picture however it doesn't use a backdrop but  my brother is standing in front of the buildings  in Newquay on holiday, also i used photoshop to kind of blurry out the building to make him the topic of the image and it makes it more effective to look at.
nature photography is where you capture an image outside with nature such as leaves and tress however i made sure i burred out the cars so the image is just focusing on one topic which is me, taking the picture with the leaves has an autumn effect to the image.

The depth of Photography!

By Leanne March

The portrait photography is a picture of a person or it can even be a picture of an animal to capture the personality of the subject by using effective lighting, backdrops and make the person pose for the camera to make it more effective and artistic

Black and white photography is simply a photo without colour but still looks powerful and explores the tones and texture of the photo, using black and white photography you can just focus on the shadows and highlights, to get this to work just take the picture and set it in black and white.

Nature photography is a wide range of photos taken outdoors and devoted to display natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants and close-up of natural scenes and textures

Landscape photography shows spaces within an area that you’re interested, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic. Landscape photography captures the presence of nature but can also focus on man-made features or disturbances of landscape

white balance settings- it removes unrealistic colour casts, so the objects which appear white in person are rendered white in your photo. White balance has to take into account the "colour" temperature of a light source, which refers to the relative warmth or clones of white light.

Soft and Hard light is where soft light is a low contrast with a low colour saturation and whereas the hard light gives out a high contrast with a high saturation

The depth of field is a measure of how much depth of an image will be focus on such as the aperture which is considered to be a fast lens depending on what setting the camera is on and it can have a maximum aperture for example f/4.0. that’s why lenses with large apertures are better suited for low light so it makes it stronger even know the light is dark. The aperture is measured in f numbers and the lager the f number is the smaller the aperture becomes.

Focus point is the point at which rays or waves meet after reflection or refraction, or the point from which diverting rays or waves appear to proceed. Focal point is where the camera focuses on particular part of the images for example the flowers are in the centre on the rule of third to make the background more blurred.

Rule of third is appealing a subject with the guide line and their intersection points, placing the horizon on the top or bottom line, or allowing linear features in the image to flow from section to section. The ‘rule of thirds’ one of the first things that budding digital photography and rightly so as it is the basis for well balanced and interesting shots. The basic principle behind rules of thirds is to imagine breaking an image down into thirds both horizontally and vertically so that you have 9 parts.

As you’re taking an image you would have done this in your mind through your viewfinder or in the LCD display that you use to frame your shot using the grid in the mind of the rules of thirds now identifies four important parts of the image that you should consider placing points pf interest in as you frame your image however it also gives four lines that are also useful positions for elements in your photo

With my images the rule of thirds has made it more effective to see for example the picture of me walking is effected because the cars in the background are burred and the focus point is me.

Animal, Pet photography is what it says in the name an image of pets or a strong relationship with humans. Note that the human content is often as important as the animal.

Travel photography is a show case of the location the image is taken, illustrate travel literature, it might include photographing destination hotels and res orts, tourist attraction, scenery, outdoor adventures, local events, cultures and customs. Images are used for advertising or print sales.
