(Sunday 27th November)This is a method of communication which is known as SMS which is where you can text anyone in a quick easy way, you can also sent messages like this if they are in a different country but it might cost as its such a far distance from the server. The disadvantage that it is limit of how many characters can be sent in one text message so if it is a long message its better to call them as it cold take up the storage of someone device.
The advantage for SMS is that you can send them at any time, day or night, to people around the world however it might cost your phone bill depending on what contract you are on. You can get your message out efficiently to the required groups therefore you can message your friends at the same time
The disadvantages are that it needs basic skills and it might be harder for more older target audience as its a new technology for them, if you have a lot of messages it also takes up all the memory on your phone. People can respond in a negatively to unwanted texts.
(Monday 28th November)I received this email asking me to buy music gifts from apple, apple does this to advertise there company and make it branch out more and tell the public that they have a brand new idea out that they want to to buy it also is made in a simple layout to make it clear on what their are advertising. They have sent the email as it was quick to contact a person that has recently signed up with their website. The advantage of using email is you can copy of a message can be sent within a group chat, however the disadvantage is emails can attach viruses depends on if the website that is linked with the email isn't locked therefore it isn't safe to send to some as it could have an issue on the other person device, having too many emails can hold down your data and give you less space on your device.
(Tuesday 29th November) Blogger is helpful to people that want to post work and allow either a teacher or someone that wants to view the blog, the advantage of using this is that it allows you to share it with anyone that you allow to, the disadvantage is that someone could copy your work and try make it look like they had made the blog. the advantage is it enables you to write down your thoughts on anything that interests you. the disadvantage whatever you publish is available for everyone to see. if you write a post in anger you might regret it later.

A report on how digital communications have impacted on modern day journalism
This report will tell you how journalism is effected by digital communications in the 20th century people are expecting to be able to choose what they want to read, most journalists believe they should be able to contribute content and opinions. The new shift is called the social media revolution, is not the horror of journalism, its the birth of a democratic movement that emphasises some of journalisms key factors such as transparency, honesty and giving a voice to the person who doesn't have any of the factors.
many of the traditional and non-traditional media outlets report and comment the internet and social media especially social networking have begun to give a serious effect, new organisations and how they operate. however newspapers currently face crisis on how to make the news profitable in the digital age, social networking sites like twitter has been affected in the news organisations and changed for better or worse? and how the journalists are preforming ?
The rise of citizen journalism is changing due to the fact the different digital communication sources that they can now use and in a quick, easy way to post the events that are happening so the audience has a visual videos or even newspapers to update what is going on, also factual messaging is is increasingly hard to judge to the value of the eyewitness film shots on a mobile phone and posting it onto the internet against a considered, observational broadcast on a tradition television channel that is popular. The factual filmmaking has in some senses becoming hostage to these new immediate technologies that are around in this century but many working in the genre praise the development for adding richer dimension to current affairs and the factual documentaries and everyone seems to agree that the genre will never be the same again!
Tom pool who has broadcasted hours on end of live reports from Zucotti Park in New York, to Youtube videos of citizens under fire from government forces in Syria which is shown in horrific sense, these incidents and more are changing the landscape of documentary filmmaking but it creates effective views to the audience and shocking imagery of what is happening within the videos he is posting. The distribution platforms that are now available and the passion of ordinary men and women to tell the kinds of extraordinary stories that were once domain of professional documentary makers.
